River Technician

Sam is a valuable addition to the FlyWater team, having joined in May 2021. His passion for rivers and fishing led him to FlyWater, and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Sam graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Geography in 2012, and has since gained a diverse professional background, including experience in GIS analysis, field collection and surveying, and operations management.

Outside of work, Sam is committed to environmental conservation and has taken on leadership roles in Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA). His dedication to preserving natural resources aligns with FlyWater's mission of sustainability and responsible fishing practices. When he's not in the office, Sam can be found enjoying a range of outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, skiing, biking, and more. His enthusiasm for the outdoors and his expertise in GIS analysis and conservation make him a valuable asset to the FlyWater team.
